On the front cover of the DVD case it has a long shot of seven characters from the film, as they are on the front cover you can see that they are all main characters in the film. They are standing in a triangle which shows who are the most important at the front and the least at the back. The background is tinted red and has Big Ben, the London eye and an explosion, which shows that the genre of this film is action. The background is as if it has been painted on which gives the cover a more edgy look to it creating tension before the film is on.

The title of the film is RED 2. The font that the title is in is rough and gritty which could mean that the film is also. it is in red which connotes blood, danger and love, all of these things might be presented to the audience in the movie. RED stands for Retired Extremely Dangerous, which is told to he audience in the first film, as people might not know what it means they would want to watch the first film before this one. Having the title big and bold draws the audiences eyes towards the title.

By having all the min characters on the front cover of the dvd case it will draw the eye of any of the fans of the actors/actresses on the cover which will make them want to buy the dvd. at the top of the front cover it has the actors and actresses names, not in order of where they are standing but in order of star appeal (how famous they are)

The title stands out as it is white text on a red background, these colours work well to get something to stand out as they contrast each other. The majority of the rest of the text is black text on a white background which as with the title works well to make the text stand out as they are contrasting colours. the price is in yellow on a black background which contrasts and because it is only one of two things in yellow it draws your eye towards it. at two pounds this magazine is reasonably priced which will get people to pick it up as people want things that are worth their money.

The front used for the cover lines shows the kind of magazine it is, it's strong, bold and persistent. The font used for the parts underneath the coverless are less bold but still the same font. there are some coverless that are in red or blue which shows the reader that there are other articles in the magazine that are just as important as the Mayweather article but they just don't have the star appeal so it is not in big, bold text. It says at the top in yellow on a black background "New Magazine" which means they might not have a large audience yet so they have to rely on the cover of the magazine as they have not yet made a name out of themselves yet.

Floyd Mayweather is the big article in this magazine but all of the coverless are infant of the picture of him, which could mean that he is important but the other coverless are too. The the main cover line is the largest text on the page which draws your eye an makes it easier for the reader to find out what the "big"article is about without confusion.

The audience for the magazine is people who enjoy sports and keeping fit. this is evident by the name of the magazine and that all of the coverless are about fitness. Also there is language used that the audience will understand, e.g. "beast mode".

Colour scheme: The red master head stands out as one of the things your eyes are drawn to. Dr strange is the main story of the magazine and to show this it is the main image and the text is a different font and is white and fades away, this makes it stand out as the pull quote. The names of the other films are in yellow so you know what are films and what are not. This separates the text from the titles.

The picture is used because it has the most star appeal out of the many films/tv series' on the cover. It also overlaps the master head, this shows that it is the most important thing on the important. Fans of the actor are more likely to pick up the magazine. The bright yellow background makes the bold, bright, red master head stand out and makes the master head something your eyes are drawn to.

The caption for the picture has alliteration in, "...mind for the mystical mysteries of Marvel's...". This is a persuasive technique, it makes the text sound better and makes it more likely for people to pick up the magazine. the font used is quite informal so it creates a friendly calm(ish) feeling when reading the magazine cover.

Above the master head it says "New secrets of Star Wars Rogue one". "New secrets" are buzz words to make the reader think that this magazine has only, this makes people who want to know about the film will buy it to find out more about it. the coverless are very brief as the majority of them are just the titles of the films and tv series'. This makes you want to read more because they haven't told you what they know about the films/tv series'.

This magazine is for a range of audiences as it shows on the cover dr strange which is a comic film and also it shows jack reacher which is a action film then there is star wars which is a sic fi film.
